About Me
I’m Karina, an artist, author, and illustrator who has always seen the world through a creative lens. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m continually inspired by people, their stories, and my own experiences, dreams, and imagination.
My creative journey began as a little girl filling sketchbooks with characters and scenes from the stories I imagined. I also loved writing and spent hours creating my own comic books. I was too shy to share them back then, worried they weren’t good enough. But those early creations shaped who I am today and helped me realize that storytelling was a part of me I wanted to embrace—not hide.
Today, I’m proud to work as an artist, children’s book author, and illustrator. My work spans a variety of creative forms, including acrylic paintings, charcoal portrait drawings, and live watercolor guest illustrations for special events. I love capturing personality, emotion, and the little details that make each subject unique.
Bringing my stories and artwork to life—and seeing people connect with them—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. There’s something magical about creating art that becomes a meaningful keepsake or watching someone see themselves, their loved ones, or their story captured in a new way.
I believe art is a powerful form of communication. Through every portrait, illustration, and story, I hope to spark imagination, emotion, and connection. Most of all, I hope my work inspires others to dream, create, and see a little more magic in the world.
