About Me

I’m Karina — an artist, author, and illustrator who has always seen the world through a creative lens. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m constantly inspired by people, their stories, and my own experiences, dreams, and imagination.

My journey started when I was a little girl filling sketchbooks with characters and scenes from the stories I imagined. I also loved writing and spent hours creating my own comic books. Back then, I was too shy to share them, worried they weren’t good enough. But those early creations shaped who I am today and helped me realize that storytelling is a part of me I wanted to embrace, not hide.

Now, I’m proud to be a children’s book author and illustrator. Bringing my stories to life — and seeing children connect with them — has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. There’s something magical about watching young readers discover a world you’ve created.

I believe art is a powerful form of communication. Through every illustration and every story, I aim to spark imagination, emotion, and connection. My hope is that my work inspires others the way art has always inspired me.
